ArriverTM will combine Veoneer's pioneering leadership in sensing, safety and HMI with Qualcomm Technologies' industry-leading low power/high performance semiconductors to deliver the ADAS/AD (driver assistance and autonomous driving) solutions that will form the core of this automotive systems development, starting with 2024 production and sales to end users.
Arriver's unique, scalable, open platform will be designed to support driver acceptance, use, and reliability, and optimized to give car manufacturers and subsuppliers flexible and upgradable solutions that can be configured to support models across their offerings.
In Linköping, we're developing our camera systems. At Arriver, our responsibilities include full stack software and algorithms. We are now hiring Group Managers within Traffic Infrastructure Detection and Object Detection departments at our Linköping office. These departments consist of two to three requirement areas (RA) within Vision algorithm development. In your position as a Group Manager you will recruit and build upon the existing team of highly competent developers. As a Group Manager you will also have an operative role as Supporting Line Manager in the RA, including leadership of external teams and delivery responsibility.
As a Group Manager you are responsible for the development of both technology and personnel. You are expected to ensure the quality of your employees' working methods, performance and competence development. Responsibilities also include budget and working environment.
You will be part of and contribute to the department's management team. You are responsible for the improvement of the company's development processes and standards.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we prefer that you have:
• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
• Experience as a Group Manager or equivalent
• Experience in leading others as well as building and developing teams
• Good English skills, spoken and written
The position requires a background and experience within software product development and processes from requirements to test coverage.
The position requires good leadership skills, that you are clear in your communication, have an analytical ability as well as the ability to make decisions. You are responsive and outgoing and maintain good relationships.
Meriting experiences are: algorithm development, image processing, compute clusters, CI, agile principles and methods, the automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems.
