Group Manager - Electronics Maintenance

Maintenance, Investments & Metrology is a section within the Department A&V Environments. We develop and procure testing equipment and facilities for the different departments within R&D. In order to meet requirements regarding reliability we acquire and ensure availability of the facilities, equipment and development tools within R&D. We provide metrology expertise, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools for testing departments. We also performing maintenance and calibration and evaluate instruments and test rigs according to agreed requirements. In addition we also provide fuel distribution to R&D and supply & spare parts storage. We are now looking for a Group Manager to the group Electronics Maintenance.

As Group Manager for the group Electronics Maintenance you will be responsible to lead and develop the team. The group consists of a team within electronics, computer and software maintenance as well as a team who handle electronics development and cable manufacturing. The maintenance team is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance. We also handles rig development maintenance support in purpose to secure the operational reliability. The group operates in close contact with our customers and other groups within maintenance department. The section are planning for a limited 2-shift within maintenance due to an increasing utilization in our rig and machine park which will start 2017. The group consists of approximately 29 persons.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for management of the group and to secure the team's progress and deliveries
• Responsible for implementing Value Driven Maintenance and to develop processes within the group to ensure a cost-effective operation
• Create the basis for the team members to develop in the desired direction and to ensure that appropriate competences are maintained over time
• Follow-up on customer feedback and team performance and use the input for improving attitude, processes and technology
• Establish and operate through networks together with our customers
• Actively participate in the section management team and contribute to the development and improvement of operational efficiency and quality of deliveries

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years experience in a manager role
• Demonstrated technical knowledge
• Experience from maintenance or machinery tool development process
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Driver's license, B
• Experience from product development is meritorious
