Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a global department within Vehicle Engineering, responsible for developing the Electrical System to all truck brands within the Volvo Group. Located at four different sites globally, we are now looking for a group manager for the Implementation Support group in the Gothenburg office.
As the group manager for the implementation support team in Gothenburg you will lead an enthusiastic team of approximate 20 engineers (white collars, blue collars and consultants). The main mission for the team is to give support from an E&EE perspective to the projects within the Heavy Duty range with their test vehicles and rigs. Within the team we have five main roles; Build & Update leader, SW coordinator, SW download engineer, Vehicle support/fault tracing and Electrical mechanic.
We are supporting the projects based on our broad, deep and solid knowledge of the distributed Electrical system. This in combination with genuine complete truck and Volvo systems knowledge makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of E&EE projects.
You will also be an important member in the local EE Management Team and you will be reporting to the Chief Engineer for Electrical & Electronics Engineering in Gothenburg.
Main responsibilities are:
• Secure project and maintenance deliveries for the implementation support team.
• Lead improvement activities initiatives within your area.
• Actively lead and develop people in your team.
• Contribute in harmonization and development of processes, methods, tools and standards together with other parts of the GTT organization
• The Electrical and Electronics area will continue to grow in importance in the commercial vehicle industry and in the Volvo Group. We are currently developing very exciting products and will continue to do so in the years to come as we are expanding our business into new segments

Qualifications
• Master of Science in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience from product development in the truck or car industry
• General technical experience from Electrical and Electronics development
• Structured, analytical and holistic mind-set
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
