Skinnskatteberg municipality is located in northwestern Västmanland which belongs to the idyllic Bergslagen. With about 4400 inhabitants, Skinnskatteberg is a cozy place that is characterized by proximity. A proximity to everything between outdoor life and nature, but also to larger cities. We are now looking for a Group Logistic Developer for Systemair with good experience in project management
To be a group logistic developer you need to be a logistics-oriented person. The challenge with this job is to be the spider in the net, analyze, keep track, support, follow up and evaluate our product flows in the companies and between the factories
The contact areas are many, both internally and externally. Internally towards the group's various companies, sales, local logistics and purchase organizations, economics and IT. You will also be a member of the Logistic Council in the group. External contact areas are the companies that provide services in the areas of Logistics and Transport, and in some cases also external customers and suppliers.
The position requires both independent work and initiative, but also cooperation with other group-wide and local functions. Except solid competence within Logistics the position also requires ability to anchoring and "selling" of new ideas and practices internally.
Important also to be able to provide hands-on support to the companies within the group.
Our flexibility policy provides the opportunity to work in another place than the office a couple of days a week
Main duties and responsibilities will include
- Actively work with logistic improvements and analyzes and be a project leader in the Group Logistic Council
- Work towards operational efficiency within the logistic areas
- Project management: Identify and lead project for continues improvements within the area of internal and external logistics as well as transports
- Perform value chain mapping and other analysis in order to improve our processes
Your Profile
You are an internationally experienced within the Supply Chain area such as Product flows, cost improvements, working processes and analyzes.
Furthermore, you should have hands-on and strong experience in planning, transport
M3 and Qlik sense knowledge is an advantage. Since this is an global position you need to speek and write English fluent.
We see this role in some way as a leader position because you support and guide colleagues globally. Therefor leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead, teach and coach is required. You also need to have good knowledge in data analyzes.
We are looking for a target-oriented person with a strong drive to deliver and constantly develop and improve the Logistic area together with the Group Logistic Director. The position requires an outgoing personality with excellent collaboration skills as well as ability to work independently.
An eager to work with Logistics is a key for success in this position. Strong customers focus and good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to network and create trusting relationships. It 's important that you are able to switch between detail level and a strategic approach.
Location and travelling
