Your role
As a Group Manager at Public Safety & Security you will be able to spend a lot of your time coaching and supporting our teams to reach our goals and strategies. You will be responsible for a team of about 20 persons, all located in Gothenburg. You will work closely with our other colleagues/teams in Public Safety & Security and act in a matrix organization to ensure an effective way of working.
As a group manager you are responsible for:

Managing our employees and contractors in our agile teams

Supporting our teams with the skills and competences needed so our autonomous teams and our business can be as successful as possible

People development and make the employees grow as individuals and create leaders
*
Creating an open, innovative and inclusive work atmosphere

Be an important part of the recruiting process - finding the right people with the right attitude and competence is key

Involved in continuous improvements of our ways of working and defining responsibilities areas

Planning and forecasting of competence and capacity need
*
Be part of defining and fulfilling our common goals and strategies
*
Responsible for cost center budget, forecasting and follow up
Your profile
Required skills and experiences:

The ability to engage and encourage people
*
Experience of creating agile and successful teams and customer oriented culture
*
Result focused, both technical and financial
*
Strong in collaboration-, leadership- and change management
*
Strong drive, perseverance and flexibility
*
Experience of creating an attractive working place and a culture of continuous learning, passion, innovation

Minimum five years of experience in leading and coaching people
*
Minimum five years of relevant experience from work in IT and Software Development organizations
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be part of the Public Safety and Security (PSS) unit who develops advanced software applications and solutions for mission critical control room solutions within Public Safety and Security market. PSS has operations in Sweden, UK, Australia and US. You will be part of the PSS Swedish management team and be located in Saab Gothenburg office at Lindholmen.
