We are now looking for a Group Leader - Connectivity SW & Applications
Description
The Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information organization, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the NEVS Technical Development Organization.
You will lead a team of development engineers working primarily with other design engineers (both internal and external) and collaborates internally with Functional SW development engineers and other technical experts. You will be in charge of the team responsible to develop certain parts of the vehicle functional software that fall under the responsibility of the Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information organization. The functional software that is targeted within this team is the customer facing instrument panel cluster (IPC) software. It will also include customer facing vehicle applications both inside the vehicle itself and via the user's phone/handset.
Your position will complement existing skills and resources, and you will be reporting to the Manager of Connectivity SW & Vehicle Information.
The role as Group Leader - Connectivity SW & Applications involves to:
- Lead, coordinate and inspire the Connectivity SW & Applications team in their daily work
- Be responsible for the long term plans for your employees, and team
- Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area of software development
- Provide a safe and structured environment for the team. Communicate company/project level updates and changes
- Be responsible for resource planning and prioritization, developing strategies to ramp up or down based on resource requirements in projects
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience of leading a team and reaching defined goals
- Previous Experience/Knowledge in software development and processes , Linux / QT / Android / iOS ...
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written
- Driver license B

- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to plan and prioritize
