Role
The Group Insurance Manager will negotiate Group insurance programs as directed by VP, Group Risk Management; manage the Husqvarna Group Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program including identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation of risks; conduct ERM workshops; maintain the Risk Register; manage business travel insurance and crisis response; and communicate insurance program information throughout the Group. The candidate for this position must understand and have interest in the business and strategies of the Husqvarna Group. This position will be based in Sweden, reporting to the VP and Head of Group Risk Management based in the US. This position requires travel, extensive at times.
The candidate will manage business travel insurance and crisis response for Husqvarna locations around the world, and train other Risk Management staff to be fluent in crisis and emergency response. You will also review existing disaster recovery / business continuity at Husqvarna Group, and lead and manage enhancements to these programs.
You will manage the Group Risk Management web portal and content and regularly disseminate information throughout Husqvarna Group. This includes maintaining up-to-date Insurance Summaries for communication throughout the Group. The candidate will also develop and maintain insurance and risk management presentations. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating existing Risk Management policies and procedures, with the objective to clarify, simplify, consolidate and communicate this information throughout the Group
Profile
The position requires a minimum five years insurance experience and minimum two years ERM experience. You will have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex global insurance programs. The candidate must be an effective oral and written communicator, fluent in English. You will be able to work cooperatively and effectively with all levels of personnel at site locations. An academic degree is required.
The candidate will be self-motivated and will promptly update insurance renewal information for communication throughout Husqvarna Group. The right person needs to be proactive and must take his/her own ini tiatives. You will be flexible to handle both large and small projects with the same enthusiasm, and possess the desire and drive to take on additional responsibilities.
The position requires the ability to travel, extensively at times.
