Stena Line's Commercial Department is comprised of three key commercial streams; Freight, Travel and OSS. We are looking for an individual to take on the role as Group Head of Travel.
What will you do?
As Group Head of Travel you will be our voice of the customer and will lead the strategic development to ensure a customer centric approach. Your main mission will be to maximize the effects of marketing and create strategies and concepts which our regions can implement. It is your responsibility to ensure a consistent and seamless customer experience. You will have the authority to set the direction for Travel and you will work closely with our Transformation Leads and business regions with the purpose of driving net profitability through efficient and effective sales and marketing strategies and processes.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and coordinating the Travel strategy, subject to GM approval, with close cooperation with regional management
• Optimize a One Company approach to marketing execution and delivery
• Lead the Travel Commercial Forum and provide support for regional marketing teams
• Develop marketing and product strategies which can be developed and executed in an efficient way to acquire new customers and retain existing users
• Represent the business and customer in developing our digital roadmap and securing alignment (One Company), involvement and ownership from business regions and functions
• Strategize, collaborate and partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Transformation Leads, user experience, design, analytics, creative and leadership, to drive product roadmaps, strategy and execution
• Develop, define and regularly evaluate our distribution strategy which should aim to increase our brand exposure, drive sales and generate new business in a digital and cost-efficient way
• Implement key marketing performance metrics to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing and transformation teams
• Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends, the activities of competitors and using customer insights to improve our net profitability, customer satisfaction and commercial positioning

The must-haves:
• Extensive sales and marketing experience with a business to consumer perspective, preferably on a global level
• Experience in e-commerce and digital platforms
• Experience in creating strategies and processes to be implemented across an organization
• Experience in maximizing marketing through larger concepts, distribution and communication strategies
• Proven leadership skills with experience in securing results in a change process
• A commercial background in creating business value and growing revenue
• Fluent in English
