We are looking for a driven Group Financial Controller who at Avalanche Studios will be offered an exciting accounting and controlling role that you can grow in. The role will develope depending on your own ability and ambition and you will be offered a great opportunity to evolve in your career. You will be able to do this in one of Sweden's largest game development companies, founded 15 years ago, and is a world leader in the development of open-world-games.

Avalanche Studios is famous for games such as the award-winning Just Cause series and Mad Max, but has also released the free-to-play theHunter 2009 (Developed by the subsidiary Expansive World) with nearly 8 million registered players in over 190 countries. TheHunter franchise grew further with the premium title: Call of the Wild, released for PC and Playstation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
At the moment, Avalanche Studios is developing Rage 2 on behalf of publisher Bethesda with scheduled release in 2019. By 2018, Avalanche Studios has also announced Just Cause 4 together with Square Enix and the self-funded game Generation Zero, read more at www.avalanchestudios.com.

Avalanche Studios, that is based in Stockholm, New York and now Malmö, was founded in 2003 by Christofer Sundberg and Linus Blomberg, and is today owned by Nordisk Film, a company within the Egmont media group. The studio builds games on their own developed game engine Apex - Avalanche Open World Engine - which enables huge open worlds filled to the breadth of freedom.

Job Description
Work as Group Financial Controller:
Reporting and follow-up in financial reporting
Establishment of the group financial statements for the month, - quarterly, and yearly (consolidation of income and balance sheets and other data)
Group reporting in the group reporting system INFOr
Ensuring the Group's accounting principles in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
Financial statements and analysis, reservations and accruals
Responsible for the preparation of annual reports and declaration
Contact with auditors and accounting office
Work on the development and improvement of routines and processes for financial and legal reporting

Who are you?
We seek you with an academic degree in economics and about 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work, experience in group financial statements and consolidation. We would like to see you come from the audit industry and after having worked for some years with accounting / group financial statements, you are pleased with the tasks in combination with a more analytical and business-oriented role. Your skills in the Office package, mainly Excel and Power Point, are good and you master English and Swedish fluently in spoken and written terms. English is our group language.

As a person, you are structured, careful and take responsibility for delivering high quality towards given deadlines. You will be initiating and driving processes and structure regarding the financial follow-up and reporting. It makes it desirable that you are a doer who sees what needs to be done, solution-oriented, likes to come up with ideas as well as deliver towards set goals. We believe you are analytical with interest in the company's business and development and that you would like to be in a entrepreneurial organization.
