Job description
You will be responsible for facilitation, implementation, monitoring and measurement of group and local ethics & compliance focus areas that incorporate governance, risk, ethics & compliance (GREC) and responsible business into all aspects of business operation. You will be in contact with both internal and external parties, mainly Telia Company’s Chief Ethics & Compliance Office, Procurement and E&C program owners and Head of Region Sweden.
The role of an Ethics and Compliance officer is to ensure implementation of Telia Company’s global ethics & compliance focus areas under sponsorship of CEO and in cooperation with all related departments.
You will work closely with the:
Group Ethics & Compliance office and network in coordinating and implementing global ethics & compliance focus areas and policies as these are developed, current focus areas being: Freedom of expression and customer privacy Anti-bribery and corruption Third party management Occupational, Health and Safety
Group Ethics & Compliance office in coordinating and implementing generic elements such as: Risk Assessment, including Human Rights Impact Assessments. Training and Communication Internal reporting (whistleblowing process) and case management Measurements and reporting
Group Procurement Office on Third party due care and due diligence and Responsible Procurement.
Other Responsibilities
Prepare agenda and plan meetings for the Sweden GREC (Governance, Risk, Ethics & Compliance) meeting. Ensure such meetings are minuted and relevant matters escalated/reported to the global GREC meeting. Ensure education and training for the all employees of region in the subject of TeliaSonera ethics and compliance focus areas, raise the awareness and transparency level of the subject with related external stakeholders. Enhance measure and follow compliance with Telia Company ethics and compliance requirements on third parties. Act as ethics champion and advocate and be role model for all internal and external stakeholders. Interact with external stakeholders and promote the role of Ethics & Compliance and sustainable and responsible business. Additional Responsibility for group Human Rights assessments, gap-analysis and implementation plans (including Children’s Rights).

Qualifications:
Relevant university degree Excellent presentation skills 3+ years of experience in similar field (Ethics & Compliance, responsible Business and/or Sustainable Development) Experience in working with Human Rights Impact Assessments. Excellent execution, follow up, project management and coordination skills Analytical skills with problem solving capacity Service delivery attitude towards customers Fluent in English, additional languages preferable
