Do you have a passion for EHS and sustainability? We are now looking for a Group EHS Manager who will be a key player in providing leadership, coaching and counsel to the Global Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) functions at Husqvarna Group.

About the job
This position is located in the Business Assurance team, residing in Operations Development strategic Group function. This function within Husqvarna Group is primarily responsible for securing Group wide synergies where appropriate, accelerating certain key priority areas, and securing business assurance.

You will play an important role in making sure all international location activities, systems and plans effectively drive EHS performance that meets or exceeds Husqvarna Group EHS objectives. You will also be responsible for oversee so that the operations is conducted in compliance with company EHS-policies and legal requirements.

In addition to EHS responsibilities, this position encompasses leadership of selected corporate responsibility. In addition to this you will also be driving sustainability programs and initiatives.

In order to be successful in this role you are able to contribute to strategic EHS decisions, embrace change, possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to efficiently balance multiple priorities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and lead global EHS strategy and ensure it is integrated through all levels of organization.
• Establish accountability for EHS performance and develop strong EHS culture.
• Develop, implement and maintain a suite of common metrics and EHS KPIs
• Develop and implement global EHS reporting software to effectively collect and analyze all data.
• Head and develop the existing Network governance within Husqvarna Group together with EHS responsible in the sites.
• Develop and implement training programs for EHS to support global EHS and Sustainability objectives and be the trusted EHS expert.
• Implement effective EHS inspection and internal audit processes with follow-up and close of non-conformities

Required Skills
• Be able to guide the team in environment, health & safety.
• Proven skill to review, evaluate, and implement programs to address regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, technical documents and proposals.
• Good proven interpersonal skills; ability to work with people in a culturally diverse environment and ability to develop relationships quickly and effectively at all levels throughout the company.



Formal requirements for this role:
• Master in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years Environmental, Health & Safety experience in an industrial setting
• Leadership experience - demonstrated supervisory and team building skills
• Experience of management in production (supervisor role) would be a plus
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, policies, techniques and practices, and of environmental protection laws and regulations
• Knowledge of corporate responsibility and sustainability requirements and best practices.

Location
This position will be placed in Huskvarna or Stockholm and will require some travel internationally.
