Geographic placement in the Gothenburg area
We are now seeking Group Design Leaders for assignments in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for a defined area and work in close cooperation with both internal and external parties such as suppliers, purchasing, design engineers etc. You will establish and develop relationships with representatives from many areas inside and outside of the customer.
Main tasks:
• Actively lead the assignment, cross functional team and ensure that all results and deliveries are in accordance to the request.
• Manage the assignments in the cross-functional team, secure deliveries and results.
• Set up targets, obligation, status and prognosis for the assignment.
• Responsible for budget and cost.
• Develop, monitor and update relevant time plans for current task.
• Secure that decisions are made together with the project and in the line organization, when deviations occur.
• Responsible for creation, update and storage of documents related for the assignment and ensure correct structure in relevant systems.
• Investigate new materials and production methods
Required qualifications:
• Minimum B.Sc. Engineering or equivalent based on work experience
• At least 2 years' experience from product development
• English, both in speech and writing
• Drivers license B
• An asset would be if you have previous experience as a team or project leader
• Technical knowledge of the area is meritorious
• Experience as group design leader, task leader or lead engineer.
• Experience of working crossfunctional with other sections/units
• Since our customers work in agile organisations, it's an advantage if you have knowledge and/or experience about agile methods
