WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this role you will work with and develop the routines within the consolidation process and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting. You have experience from and an interest in working with group accounting in an international environment and preparing annual and interim reports according to IFRS. In this role, you have regular dialog with the rest of the finance function in Sweden as well as with regional controllers and accounting personnel globally.
Main activities will include:
Consolidation of the Group's monthly financial reporting and closing of the group. Preparations of the Group's interim reports and annual reports. Maintain and develop the monthly closing process for the Group to ensure accurate and timely reporting to Group Management, Board of directors and other stakeholders. Validate and analyse consolidated figures, including quality and compliance control of subsidiaries financial reporting. Manage the acquisition & integration process from a closing perspective. Support local finance teams in the subsidiaries in financial reporting matters. Own and maintain the Group financial reporting manual. Keep up to date with IFRS and applicable accounting news and implement changes if necessary. Validate and optimize financial processes and reporting structures on a group level. Maintain and develop the group consolidation system.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You are a structured and quality oriented person. You have an analytical and proactive mindset and you are used to sharp deadlines. You want to work in a fast changing environment. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English and Swedish, both oral and writing. You have an interest in and easy to learn new systems. Good knowledge in Excel is important and so is a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
In addition to above you also have
Experience from group accounting in an international environment. Experience from working in a consolidation system, preferably Aaro A background from working at the top audit firms Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
THE GROUP CONTROL
Group Control is responsible for the group consolidation and reporting as well as the forecast process.
Group Control contributes to the growth of Axis business by providing correct consolidated financial reports and analysis, delivered within given deadlines and supported by efficient and scalable procedures. We work to optimize financial processes on a group level and for central processes to be generic in the subsidiaries. By developing the financial infrastructure, we make it possible for the organization to validate and analyze data. Today the team consist of four persons.
