Within Sandvik Group Control, we're accountable for all management accounting for the Sandvik Group provided to the GEM and the Board, including the maintenance and development of the Sandvik financial scorecard. We also ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS and Sandvik Financial Reporting Policies and Procedures, and we maintain and develop the governance framework and approval process for M&A, restructuring and investments. On top of this, we hold responsibility for the financial consolidation and management of our BPC systems used for the financial reporting and consolidation.
Your mission
Sandvik Group Control consists of four departments - Group Business Control, Group Reporting and Consolidation, Parent Company and M&A and Investments - and in this position, you'll be rotating within some of them. You'll also do a rotation in Sandvik's Internal Audit team, and contribute in conducting internal audits. Other tasks on your agenda are participating in various finance and business control projects, and you support our monthly closing process with reporting on actual outcomes as well as forecasts.
The location for this position is in our headquarters at World Trade Center in the middle of Stockholm.
Your character
You have a bachelor's degree in Finance and a high proficiency of common economic tools, as well as of Office 365. As the job also includes working in SAP BPC, it's highly beneficial to be well acquainted with it. We're a truly global organization, and you must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. This also means that you need to be able to travel internationally a significant amount of your time.
For this position we're looking for someone with a can-do attitude, combined with a strong set of analytical skills. You take initiative, work methodically and ensure accuracy, and you're always two steps ahead and full of suggestions when it comes to problem-solving.
