hela Sverige For our client, a fast pace growing global company within technology, sales and marketing, we are now looking for a consultant that can support the Controlling team throughout the period of which the company is recruiting.
This is a full- time consultant position through Wise Professionals/Eqonomy. We are looking for a person that can start ASAP, and the period for this consultancy period is 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the recruitment process. The position is based in Gothenburg and you will be able to partly work remote.
About the position
In this role You will pave the way for the long-term position, meaning taking the role of a key player in the continuous development of the client's analysis and budget structures as well as having an important role in the short and long-term financial planning. You will be playing a significant part in the analysis of the European performance, as well as preparing for the next person to come to take over your work.
The position is based in Gothenburg and reports to the Head of Business Control.
Your assignment
You will overview the full European picture on both a monthly basis and of course also our more long-term financial outlook (yearly and 5+ years). You will be working in close collaboration with the business, controlling, accounting, and reporting teams as well business office.
You will run the budget process and set the financial steering structure - meaning that you will be responsible for the budget material, business plan material, and more, for all our seven markets.
With the financial foundation in order, you will simulate different scenarios, analyze, package it, and present it to key stakeholders within the company: what is behind the numbers. For most of your work you will use Power BI and Excel.
Examples of your responsibilities:
• Oversee our closing from a business control perspective with an overall analyze of our performance
• Setting budget and forcast
• Continuous development of working tools, Power BI, and more
• Day-to-day Ad-hoc analysis
Your background
• Solid financial knowledge from a similar role as Group Controller in "commodity flow", multinational retail, or general wide-ranging industry experience.
• Experience with multiple legal entities in different countries
• The ability to handle substantial amounts of data in a structured way to find opportunities (and one or two problems) from different perspectives.
• You also have strong analytical abilities with the capability to communicate complex information in an easy, understandable, and engaging way.
• Proficient in English. Swedish is a plus but not a must.
• Since this is a consultant agreement that is about to start asap you will need to be based in or around Gothenburg.
