The job
In this position, you're a committed and coaching leader for your team, as well as a key resource in driving vital change initiatives within your area of responsibility. You ensure that our general accounting is managed in accordance with accounting principles, and in line with all relevant regulations, laws and standards. You also secure compliance and high quality of IFRS reporting, as well as with our internal guidelines, processes and regulations in the general accounting area.
You deliver interim and annual reports to our stakeholders and take part in communication with external auditors, and as Group Accounting Manager, you provide support for reporting subsidiaries within the Sandvik Group and share your knowledge in acquisition and divestment processes.
In this position, you're located at our headquarters at World Trade Centre in Stockholm, and you report to the Head of Group Reporting and Consolidation.
Your character
We're looking for someone with a degree in Finance, combined with extensive experience from a similar management role in a global organization. You've managed global financial processes and internal control, and you're well-versed in IFRS and driving change projects in a larger context. As a Sandvik leader, you create an environment of diversity and inclusion, deliver results, drive improvements and develop the people around you. You also show awareness of personal impact on others, act with integrity and build trust. As we act in a truly global environment, you need excellent English skills, while knowledge in Swedish or any other language is an advantage.
You're socially skilled and with your excellent way of communicating, you easily build strong relationships with the people you meet. A structured and analytical approach and a proactive mindset helps you grasp the bigger picture. Although you enjoy working independently, you truly believing that teamwork is the major key for success!
