Through the efforts of our 600 employees around the world, we provide specialized competence in design, test, launch and operation of space and air systems. Satellite Management Services (SaMS) provides satellite operations and satellite communications services using a network of SSC stations and partner stations worldwide.
As a Ground Station and Satellite Controller within SaMS Technical Operations you will work at one of our two stations, Mission Control Center or Esrange Satellite Station. You will be part of a team responsible for operational functions such as satellite operations, configuration of ground stations, monitoring, performance analysis, reporting, helpdesk services and 1st line support etc.
These assignments are a rotating 24/7 shift position.
We expect you to have the following qualifications: an Electronics, Physics or Space Sciences Technical degree and/or operational experience in satellite and/or ground network operations. Other equivalent experience and qualifications may also be considered.
Qualified candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills in order to provide a foundation for success in this position. In addition, applicants should be exceptionally self-motivated and work well in a highly regulated environment.

A valid driver's license is also required.
All applicants must be European Union or Schengen citizens legally allowed to work in Sweden without the need to obtain a work visa.
