We are looking for candidates with previous experience within grid connection processes, grid integration, cost estimations for grid connections and conceptual design for transmission or distribution systems, powerlines, substations. You will be working primarily with Windfarms grid connection projects, though others such as Power Systems, Datacenters or Battery Energy Storage systems projects can also be worked on. It can be early phases like estimate costs or finding a good location for the project or later phases when the client needs support with a grid application processes. We are looking for a person who both have theoretical and practical experience of grid connections and electrical design and preferably worked at and grid company or similar experience.
As our new Grid Manager for Wind, you will be part of our energy team consisting of project managers and technical experts which are based in either Umeå, Sundsvall, Östersund, Uppsala, Halmstad, Malmö, Gothenburg, Västerås, Luleå or Stockholm. You will participate in small to large scale complex projects where new and conventional technologies in the energy and industry sector is applied.
The position will offer you the opportunity to apply and further develop your project management skills as well as your technical insight, while working on the projects supported by senior project management colleagues and technical experts. Furthermore, you will join appropriate competence team(s) for developing our business and your skills in selected areas for knowledge exchange and sharing of best practice.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Support Ramboll in its position as owners' engineer
Review and comment on electrical design documentation, provided by the BoP Contractor.
Chairing, minuting and follow up on electrical interface meetings with BoP contractor, WTG supplier (and eventually DSO). Meetings are mainly related to grid compliance and performance studies.
Preparation of grid compliance test procedure including responsibility list for Stage 1 & 2 documentation
Follow up on status and pending actions, coordination between involved parties.
Participate in customer meetings to update on progress and challenges
Write reports to summarise findings and client recommendations
Price estimations, CAPEX
Conceptual design
Together with senior project managers, work with large and complex international projects, technical design and engineering, elaboration of tender documents and tender evaluations
To participate in small to large scale projects and studies providing technical expertise for outmost clients' satisfaction.
Manage small scale projects within the field of electrical engineering.

At Ramboll, we support you in your personal and professional development right from the start. In order to get started with us, you should meet the following requirements:
Experience working with wind energy projects and in particular with integration of renewable energy to the grid in a variety of stages (feasibility, concept, design and specification) at 11kV, 33kV and above;
In-depth and practical knowledge of the Swedish energy system;
Working knowledge of relevant standards and codes of practice;
M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Engineering (energy, energy systems, electrical engineering)
Min 5 years of professional working experience from the energy sector, preferably wind.
Excellent spoken and written English. Good Swedish language skills would be an advantage, but not a requirement.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently
