The Husqvarna Global Design Centre is responsible for design strategies and industrial design for all brands within the Husqvarna group. The Global Design Centre is now searching for an experienced production graphics coordinator to assist in the development of new graphic design concepts as well as to coordinate processes within the department.
As a Production Graphics Coordinator your main tasks would be to:
• assist in production and application of sample decals
• coordinate new die development and approvals with purchasing/vendors
• produce part drawings/prints of all approved graphic designs
• assist purchasing and senior management with vendor development and decal supply chain activities
• plan long term improvements for graphic process of production
• research new materials and technologies and recommend product improvement and cost reduction opportunities
Location:
The location of your new position is Huskvarna. You will report to the Design Director or the Graphic Designer.
Skills you need to possess are:
• at least an associates degree in Graphic Design or H.S. diploma and minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• 2 years experience using Adobe Illustrator or similar computer program
• basic understanding of 4-color printing process
• a high skill level in design programs in Adobe CS, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous are to have good communication and presentation skills, be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
