Our client is a Swedish game studio in Stockholm developing innovative video slots for the free-to-play social and the online gambling market. The talented team has years of experience, a burning passion and love for gambling, as well as big respect for the players.
The Job
Our client produces games with excellent quality, with big focus on the visual aspects of the gaming experience, i.e. the graphics. We are therefor looking for an excellent all-round graphic artist / art director to join their team. You will work with designing, conceptualizing and creating original game graphics/interfaces to be implemented in flash and html5.
The tasks involve, but are not limited to:
Creating and visualizing ideas and concepts.
Collaborating and working closely with developers and product owners.
Creating graphics from sketches to final game contents.
Your Qualifications
Big experience working with the standard tools i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator.
Good knowledge of graphics creation in flash.
Knowledge of animation in Flash (preferred but not a must).
Excellent grasp of typography and color theory.
Strong traditional 2D sketching and composition skills.
Ability to apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the interface.
Strong layout and interface design skills.
Appreciation of iterating and brainstorming within a team environment.
Ability to adapt artistic styles as needed by each project.
Good understanding of usability and user experience.
Well organized
Self-motivation, good communication skills and a great team-player attitude.
Social, perceptive and with a desire to share with and learn from others.
