Kort beskrivning av företaget: Strawbees is an award winning educational toy. It all began back in 2013 when inventor Erik Thorstensson wanted to create a toy out of recycled plastic, and use everyday waste to build. He came up with Strawbees, a connector that connects straws and cardboard to build huge mechanical contraptions. The product was Kickstarted in the beginning of 2014 and since then the growth has been exponential. We are now expanding globally and are selling in 30+ countries, both in retail and in education. The team consist of people with diverse background, with the common denominator that we have fun, are open, and are skilled in our disciplines.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: Curriculum graphic design - We are currently working a lot on education products and having a big education market in Asia. Therefore, you need to cooperate with our content developers and educators. As a visual communicator, you need to interpret content into illustrations and diagrams creatively, the form will be both print and digital educational materials. Your design will help teachers and children understanding the content better, and also bring fun into the learning process. Package design - You have the knowledge of package design and production. Therefore you need to understand what packages can draw a consumer's attention and highlight the quality of the product, and how to develop eye-catching, cost-effective and safe packaging for our products. We have our manufacturers in China, so English language skill is a must, and mandarin is a plus. Toy product development - As a toy company, we need to know children's needs and keep updating our product portfolio. We need your support in the process of new product development with our inventor. Therefore, you also need to have the skills of 3D product design, bring aesthetic and child perspective into the products.

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: We want to hire a graphic designer/toy designer who: - Has graphic or related design education background - can design and co-design instruction manual, curriculum booklet, package and toy, good at using Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling software. - An added plus if you have knowledge in children related field - Extra plus if you are familiar with the Asian market.
