Our programme
The Arriva Graduate Programme is an 18 month programme developed in order to attract and develop young talent.
During the programme, you will work within different business areas. Most likely, one of these assignments will be located in one of the other 13 European countries that Arriva operates in. You will attend a set of graduate events and training modules where you will gain knowledge about Arriva's operations, strategy and business model and where you will meet Arriva's senior managers and Graduates from other countries. In addition to your main assignments, you will be working on an international project together with other Arriva Graduates. You will be supported by a mentor throughout the programme and become part of an international Graduate network.
After the Graduate Programme we will continue to support your development and our expectation is to offer you a prominent position within the business after you graduate. Good performance will expose the great growth opportunities that Arriva can offer you.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a Graduate to join our team at the Bus division. The Bus division comprises areas like Maintenance, Traffic control and Workshops. We want to give you a broad understanding of our business and during the programme you will be doing a set of placements in the different areas listed above. The type of projects, tasks and responsibilities that you will take on during the programme are in the range of simplifying and improving the working environment, developing traffic management and technical development of tools. After successfully completing the Graduate Programme, you may expect a job that fits your background and capabilities.
To apply, you will need to meet the following requirements:
• You have successfully completed a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in the area of Engineering with a focus on Logistics, Vehicle or Ergonomics
• You are encouraged to work in a multi-cultural environment
• You possess leadership potential and/or substantial technical knowledge
• You have strong communication skills and you are fluent in English and Swedish
• You are an early adopter and (nationally/internationally) mobile
• You have a high-performance and achievement orientation
• Your are interested in innovation
• You are able to think creatively and outside the box
