In this program, you'll be working with engineers both internally to Analog Devices and externally at customer accounts, along with mentors in Sales Engineer and Applications Engineer roles, to solve some of the most complex engineering problems facing customers today. This involves working with customers, sales teams, and products lines to identify key opportunities, and position the best solutions tailored to customer needs and grow Analog Devices market share.
You'll learn through a structured development program that includes assignments, projects, job shadows, mentorships, training, and coaching while you work alongside some of the industry's best and brightest talent. The Graduate Program prepares you for a career in Analog Device's Sales organization, either as a Field Sales Engineer or a Field Applications Engineer.
This position can be located in Germany, Sweden or Denmark.
Skills you will develop include, but are not limited to:
*Understanding and disseminating customers' system needs verses wants
*Proposing system solutions to customers
*Developing and proposing new products to Product Lines to fill customers' needs
*Developing and maintaining relationships with key Product Lines' Management, Marketing, Application and key customer
*Educating customers on Analog Devices' solutions and products
*Conducting seminars on Analog Devices analog and mixed signal products including demonstration of development tools
*Selling the company's products or services by calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices
*Developing new accounts and/or expanding existing customer accounts
*Sales planning and execution activities, including leading pricing strategy and negotiation efforts at assigned accounts
*Knowledge of account profiles including history, market size, key customer contact within each major department, competition and future business plans Qualifications
Qualifications include:
*Electronic Engineering degree
*Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
*Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and set priorities.
*Team and customer oriented; strong ability to collaborate and work with others
*Natural curiosity and creative thinking
*Ability to build relationships
*Strong problem solving and logical thinking skills
*Good lab measurement and debug skills
*Ability to operate with an Ahead of What's Possible mindset, high energy, entrepreneurial thinking and hand-on approach
• Able to demonstrate ADI's leadership characteristics
• Ability to travel 25-40% of time
