Your future challenge
You will be part of the Marketing department at the business unit Saab Kockums in Malmö within the business area Security and Defence Solutions. As trainee, your main responsibility will be to support the Marketing Communication Manager within marketing communications activities. This involves developing and executing marketing and promotion activities in line with marketing plans. It will be your job to stay updated regarding relevant market development, analyse and assess information as well as trends and communicate these throughout the company.
You will also participate in our strategy work as well as contribute to both short and long-term development plans, where you will prepare reports and forecasts. If you want to grow, you can. The development opportunities are many, giving you the chance to see your future self as either Senior Sales Executive, Proposal Manager or in a position within marketing or marketing communications.

Are you a future leader?
To be a successful graduate, you hold at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar. You combine this with a higher degree within Business and Economics, recently graduated or have approximately two years work experience, preferably from process-oriented work methods, from working in projects and with budgets. If you also have an education or experience from advanced project management or leadership, it is an advantage. Equally qualifying is your knowledge from proposals and estimating preparations, as well as experience from negotiations in international environments including business laws and contract forms.
As we are looking for future leaders, you must have the right motivation and drive to deliver excellent results. You must show potential for business understanding and strategic thinking. Good collaboration and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to motivate and involve your coworkers. You also need to be a curious and humble team player with commitment and a lot of energy. As Saab is a global company, you need an intercultural mind-set and, of course, great English skills. International experience will be to your advantage.
The position entails working with classified information and requires Swedish citizenship.
