Your role
Engineering within BU Radar Solutions are now establishing a new role within our organization - Governance Manager Configuration Management. As a Governance Manager you will plan, implement and drive the configuration domain within the Engineering department. In the role as Governance Manager, you will establish and lead a network of CM's with the purpose of knowledge exchange, share experience and support. Together with our managers you will also prepare and perform recruitment of new CM's. As a Governance Manager you will plan, prepare and evaluate CM training events for employees within Engineering in order to maintain a high CM knowhow within the Engineering department.
Furthermore, you will maintain and develop CM methods, tools and processes together with larger CM network within Surveillance.
Your profile
We believe that you have worked as a Configuration Manager for some years, you know what is expected from a CM and you are familiar with methods and tools used in this domain. As a person you like creating systematic workflow and define and maintain structure in processes that meets the company's requirements and policies. You understand the importance of the Configuration Management function and have the ability to define strategies and translate them into reality.
It is desirable for you to have experience from project management, change management and /or training.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations regarding security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be a part of Method & Tools team within Project Management Office.
The Project Management Office within Engineering runs technology-related projects and is responsible for methods and tools used within project execution. We work with all product units within Radar Solutions and have a passion for leadership, product development and project management. We are the bridge between development and customer projects and are responsible for the chain from cost estimation to fully developed product. We are currently 45 people employed in Gothenburg.
Business Unit Radar Solutions is a business unit within Surveillance and has around 2000 employees globally; Sweden, USA, Abu Dhabi and UK. Radar Solutions provides airborne, ground-based and naval radar solutions. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defence and security markets, a close relationship with customers and rewarding international collaborations.
