We are part of GM Powertrain, a global company with business in 17 countries and with over 50 000 employees. Today GM Powertrain Sweden has around 800 employees situated at three sites: controls-, engine development and engine production in Södertälje, integration, controls- and transmissions development in Trollhättan and production of manual gearboxes in Göteborg.
GM Powertrain is looking for a Design Responsible Engineer (DRE), Automatic Transmissions
Duties:
The DRE is responsible to create and update the technical documentation for the automatic gearbox. In other words you are responsible in setting up product requirements, develop technical solutions with the supplier, follow up that analysis and verification activities have been performed successfully and ensure that all necessary technical documents are established in accordance with our process requirements. You will be responsible in running the technical contacts with the supplier, purchase department and support vehicle projects in Sweden, Germany and USA.
Background:
You have a Bachelor or Masters degree in mechanical engineering. It is a merit if you have experience from automotive industry. You are comfortable with Pack-check layouts in UG. Good skill in the English language is required. You are proactive, act with responsibility and integrity and like to work in multicultural and cross functional environment but you can take independent decisions when necessary.
Driver’s license category B is required.
