hela Sverige Scania HQ is looking for a Global Web Content Manager who lives and breathes market communication online. Global web solutions within both the traditional web and social media are second nature to you, as is taking action based on statistics and visitor behaviour.
You will be coming to a global workplace with great conditions to influence and create opportunities for Scania's websites all around the world.
The position, which is a permanent position, is based at Scania's Head Office in Södertälje. You will report to the Head of Scania Online Governance & Solutions.
Your duties
As the Global Web Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing Scania's external websites in close cooperation with colleagues within communication and marketing, Scania's IT department and external suppliers. Your day-to-day work will focus on packaging, implementation, publishing and quality assurance of the web editorial content in Scania's own channels, as well as on social media.
Developing and following up on search engine optimisation and external online development - as well as developing the skills of the web editorial network - will also be part of the assignment.
The position may require some travel. We wish to fill the position as quickly as possible, based on the successful candidate's period of notice.
Your profile
Applicants will have a relevant higher education background and/or a number of years' experience of web editorial environments and websites. You should be able to move freely between the traditional web and social media, have a very good understanding and knowledge of both business support solutions online and visitor behaviour and statistics. You are genuinely interested in how technology can help spread the content as widely as possible - that is why data, measurement and analysis will be part of your daily work.
You will have extensive experience of working in CMS tools, be well versed in the web-related tools available on the market and so be able to work with videos and images, as well as analysis and statistics. We use Adobe Experience Manager for our global website - knowledge of Adobe would therefore be an advantage, although it is not a requirement.
You will need a good command of English and Swedish. In addition, you will need to have experience of domain management.
It is important that you are a team player who is also able to work independently. You are a responsive listener, analytical and meticulous, but also goal oriented with the ability to deliver every time. You appreciate having many contacts and thanks to your communication skills find it easy to cooperate and get team colleagues to work towards the same goal. You need to appreciate a high tempo of work while staying calm. You have a good ability to plan, organise and deliver, even in stressful situations.
