About the role
The Global VP Marketing is the global leader setting the direction to prepare the marketing brand for the future. This is a key position that defines the long-term strategy and provides brand guardianship, while inspiring and motivating teams and markets behind the brand.
Main areas of responsibility:
Brand vision, long-term strategy, 3-year planning
Portfolio, innovation (core), sustainability strategy
Global Big Idea, core brand assets, visual identity
Global Brand KPIs setting and monitoring
Ownership of Central A&P spend, resource allocation and prioritization
Relationship with key markets
Talent & capability development of the team

Brand Strategy and Goals
Define global brand ambition, vision and strategy, with global brand plan clarifying brand choices/priorities/key initiatives to deliver ambition
Turn insights into new growth drivers for the brand
Develop and be guardian of the global Brand fundamentals (positioning and master brand identity)
Set, monitor and evaluate Global and Drive Market Brand KPIs

Product portfolio
Define portfolio strategy and innovation masterplan
Execute in partnership with the regional Innovation Hubs (product and service).

Brand Communication & Activation
Lead communication development together with the Creative team - ATL, BTL, digital, content creation, and PR
Oversee BTL brand activation in-channels and suggest guidelines

Relationships with key markets
Ensure strong collaboration with key markets, in order to build brand equity and increase purchase.
Support Business Planning and Acceleration team to implement localized strategies, including optimization of A&P allocation with markets.

Leadership and Management
Be an active member of the Marketing Leadership Team
Act as a role model and internal/external ambassador to build enthusiasm for the brand.
Build a consumer centric brand team and culture
