What you'll do
As Global Travel & Expense Manager within Global Finance Operations you will responsible for developing and lead the global Travel & Expense program strategy, operational framework and contributing to tactical cost savings initiatives within Volvo Cars. You will provide leadership and development of the global Travel & Expense framework; strategic, tactical and operational level. The role will require you to actively network with relevant stakeholders within Volvo Cars to prioritize initiatives and allocate shared resources and closely collaborate to ensure alignment. You will also:
* Implement a culture of performance metrics measurement in Travel & Expense operations and manage global online processes/tools, measuring volume, employee adoption and compliance with policy
* Benchmark industry standards and new industry trends
* Set up a global Travel & Expense program and harmonize goal
You and your skills
You have a university degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience. To prosper in this role you are experienced within project and program management. Further you have proven success initiating and driving change management initiatives. You also have experience of working within a similar continuous improvement related environment. Preferably you have excellent knowledge of Travel & Expense operating model framework. To conclude you are a person that has strong organizational, communication and written skills and is fluent in English (written and spoken).
On a personal level
To succeed in the role you need to have the ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development. You further need to have a proactive approach with ability to prioritize to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines. You also need to have highly developed analytical skills and be result oriented with customer focus. Finally because you will have a lot of contact both internally and externally, you need to have excellent communication and presentation skills.
