Husqvarna Group is looking for a Trainee within Product management - Construction division who will be based in Jonsered, Sweden, for the first assignment.
You will be part of an international two-year trainee program, which offers four six-month rotations, including one assignment abroad, combined with relevant training modules. All trainees will receive a permanent employment at Husqvarna Group.
You will be employed as a member of the Husqvarna Group's team from day one. Upon completion of the program, our ambition is to assign you to a key position within Product management. This is a huge opportunity for the trainee to be part of an international company to work with exciting and new projects and execute them all by her-/himself.
The results of the Trainee's work will be noticeable in the organization since he/she will have great responsibility. We especially welcome female applicants.
Department and role
The Service offer Product management team is located in Jonsered, Sweden.
Service offer is to become an important part of the total offering from Husqvarna Construction, and the team therefor works in close collaboration with the groups developing the product offering but also with different initiatives related to digitalization in other Husqvarna divisions.
Product management has many touchpoints with other functions within a division, e.g. R&D, Marketing and Sales, but also needs a deep understanding of customer demands and how the market and competition is developing.
A first assignment will be defined together with home manager and will include an opportunity to drive important projects and tasks within product management.
Main areas of responsibility are:
• Portfolio management
• Business development
• Market introductions
• Competitor analysis

The Trainee Program will start in the end of August, 2018.

Who you are
Qualifications
• Industrial Engineering and Management, M Sc in Engineering
• Maximum of three years working experience, preferably within product management, sales and/or R&D or similar is beneficial
• Good knowledge in the Microsoft office package (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Good numerical skills
• Good commercial experience
• Experience from Service offering is beneficial
• Husqvarna Group is present in 40 countries and our corporate language is English. Therefore, fluency in an additional language is preferred, in addition to previous international experience.
• Mobility is important both during and after the program
Characteristics
The ideal trainee is a self-motivated and creative problem-solver who enjoys teamwork in an international environment. Additionally, you must also demonstrate a strong desire to add value and to learn, as well as possess strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively follow multiple parallel projects.
