We at the Process, Certification & Documentation team are responsible for Volvo Autonomous Solutions development processes and the complete product documentation. We also ensure full compliance from all applicable, regulations, certificates, and standards.
We are now looking for a Global Technology Manager (GTM) to join our team.
What will you be doing?
In the role of GTM, you will lead technology and people. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to establish development process, certifications, and documentations needed for technology development. You have responsibility to secure that we define and document our way of working and that it meets formal demands in terms of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO12100 and ISO26262 as well as the requirements coming from the need of CE-marking our products.
We are in the middle of installing new development tools and defining the way we want to drive our projects, where you will play a key role. Being an entity within the Volvo Group we have a solid foundation to stand on when it comes to processes and Management System, which we build upon in our context and services.

As this job is all about collaboration, we believe you need to be a good listener, communicator and that it is easy for you to connect with other people.
You will cover a wide span of processes, from very detailed in one specific technology area to processes involving also other Business Areas in the Volvo Group. That requires that you can understand new contexts, products, and solutions quickly and efficiently while being able to prioritize with a structured approach. You're probably also open to work in a completely new context where we together are the motivators to make the future of automated transport solutions happen. As our business area is new you need to share our positive spirit, curiosity for new technology, tools and way of working and want to take it to the next level.
Other requirements for the position:
Experience from automotive and software development processes.
Experience from both traditional project work as well as the SAFe Agile development model.
Experience both from process development as well as own experience from engineering. This to be comfortable in proposing simple, hands-on, value adding processes - but not more!
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience from creating a Management System is a merit.
