We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist with experience in SCADA/EMS/GMS/DMS/OMS Solutions. In this position you will be responsible for strategy and design of the technical solutions in the sales opportunities.

How you'll make an impact
Responsible for qualifying new opportunities by using analytic and diagnostic skills to match user requirements to Hitachi Energy Network Control Solutions, while developing a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs through visits and meetings with a diverse range of existing and potential customers
Perform presentations and demonstrations of the solutions, including taking ownership for the development of demo scenarios for customer demos, workshops and proof of concepts
Responsible for the design of the technical solution offered to the customer and mapping their requirements with our solution portfolio in a competitive market environment
Participate in bid preparations and contribute to shaping competitive and compelling offerings
Act as a professional and self-motivated driver to understand the client's business needs and translate them into effective solution approaches
Work with virtual teams in multi-cultural environments, contributing collaboratively across geographies and functions
Ability to make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving
Being an analytical team player with the ability to lead and follow as needed.
Your background
Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, preferable in Power Technologies
At least 5 years of experience with an electric utility and/or with a provider of advanced applications for power systems software.
In-depth understanding of the use of advanced applications within the electric utilities
Broad IT/OT knowledge with experience in 3rd party system integration and IT security
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Fluency in English, additional languages an advantage
