About the role

The main responsibility for this role is to support the global marine sales teams with technical support and concept evaluation. You will act as a system expert to guide and support our customers in their conceptual and system design phases.

Main responsibilities Global Technical Sales Engineer:

Work with technical support: Act as a marine application- and system specialist to support local and global sales teams with analysis and technical advice.
Act as sales support: Support to ensure offers and proposals are based on technically and commercially optimized solutions.
Customer relations and satisfaction: Participate in customer visits to maintain close ties and connections with key decision makers for the relevant areas and promote Berg as a leading system supplier. Also act as a sparring partner on technical solutions for our customers and local sales units.

To be successful you need to have good technical knowledge from shipbuilding and B2B business. You are likely to have a college or University degree (preferably within marine engineering) and +2 years' experience in international sales & marketing, preferably from the marine industry. You are fluent in English and if you speak another European language that would be a great plus. You will be part of an international sales team and work mainly with large dedicated global projects for new buildings but also for larger vessel conversion projects. The position is located at the office in Hönö, Gothenburg.
