Overview
The purpose of the role is to develop & deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience. Work in a marketing/ technical partnership to take prioritised concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch (which will be executed by the regional teams).Cooperates closely with the GBD, lead markets, CRU, PD&I and others to create strong 8 quarter launch plan to drive company sales growth and reach overall SCA targets.
Main Tasks
Based on consumer and customer insight run technical feasability.
Discover, develop and evaluate new territories/new concepts that enables a balanced flow of activities entering the Q8 launch plan
Recommend product and solution innovations that build on key brand features & design to GBD and validate with key marketing communities
Support BU growth and monitor or drive cost saving initiatives vs innovation funnel
Propose Innovation project organisation and resources to the GBD
Develop solution, claims and pack design
Give input to strategic & innovation driven Capexes
Secure alignment with R&D Core, Technology and Manufacturing (Suppliers)
Key Competencies
Functional knowledge with good network of stakeholders and understanding of requirements for Medical Devices.
Good business acumen combined with technical skills.
Strong ability in project managment and informal networks.
Nature and area of impact: The innovation area is presenting highly profitable opportunities.
Good communication skills.
Education and Experience
2-5 years experience in product development or technology.
International experience and exposure.
Proven skills in development of targeted area.
Factory experience, if possible.
Self motivated, objective driven.
Proven skills in project management.
