We are looking for a technical developer with a strong interest in service design and IoT based innovation working in Business Unit Global Hygiene Category Professional Hygiene (GBIS) as a Global Technical Innovation Manager. This position will be working with innovation within the innovation team EasyCube. This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
About the Role
As a Global technical innovation manager for EasyCube you will be key to further develop our world leading cleaning management software. We combine data from various types of sensors placed in customer buildings related to cleaning into actionable software that secures that cleaning is done at the right time, in the right place improving efficiency and business outcome for cleaning companies. This position will develop & deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience. The role will work in a marketing/ technical partnership to take prioritized concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch as well as exploring new ways of working. On top of close cooperation with the Global Brand Innovation manager, this position will also work closely with customers as well as internal Essity teams to create a strong innovation plan to drive sales growth and reach overall Essity targets. In particular with internal Essity software development team since our strategy is aiming at building Professional Hygiene services based on Internet of Things (IoT)

What You Will Do
Contribute to and implement the service strategy for Professional Hygiene, with focus on the technical area related to both hardware and software.
Strong connection with internal software development team to secure that development is aligned to overall project goals
Lead assessment of customer needs to identify relevant opportunities. Define new desired customer processes that can be supported with appropriate innovations based on IoT from Tork
Help identify opportunities and gaps vs competition that fuels the innovation pipeline and build the brand in accordance to our brand pyramid and brand architecture with market leading innovations
Partner with Brand team, Insights, Sourcing Supply Chain and Lead Markets to secure strong innovation plan based on both internal innovations as well as finding the appropriate partnership to build on existing technical solutions creating new customer valued offers.
Lead or co-lead projects through the funnel stages
Evaluate market concepts and related technical solution with a speedy hand on PoC approach to make choices what best serves the customer needs.
Assess technical feasibility of the project, own the requirement spec for both hardware and software components and drive towards a sound business assessment of the opportunity
Work closely with the commercial teams in lead markets to prepare for successful launch
Who You Are
3-5 years of relevant working experience in technical product development in a multinational environment
Experienced in innovation and development of products that combines hardware and software (IoT) into value creating customer solutions
Experience from working with development of electronic components such as sensors as well as basic understanding of software development processes
Industrial design experience of "things"
Experience from product development with strong links to 3rd party suppliers
Ability to bridge and balance technology criteria with commercial/business requirements
Project management and networking skills
Experience from leading application development as a product owner
Proven ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional teams
Strong English speaking and writing skill.
Strong communication and presentation skills on all levels
Self-motivated doer with passion
Ability to travel
