Do you want you lead and provide technical direction on a global level and contribute with your experience and expertise in strategic development of Polygiene worldwide? Based on Polygene's strong position, we are now looking for a Global Technical Director (GTD).
You will take overall responsibility of assisting customers with the development and evaluation of current and in-development Polygiene products. You will also assist in developing Polygene's processes in developing chemistry to partners and work closely with CEO, CFO, CMO, CRO and CTIO in the Malmö office.
The job
In this new role as GTD, you analyse, support labs and work with CTO and NPD team in new product development initiatives. You are the key Polygiene contact to support mills and other textile processors on the processing of Polygiene products and potential new products in development. It is essential to facilitates technology transfer and be the technical support internally and to Polygiene distributers, agents, and customers.
You also work in projects to implement strategies to improve technical operations and basis for new products. You are expected to interact with test labs globally to ensure that valid standard methods are employed for quality assurance and for performance evaluation of Polygiene treated articles. In the role you are the team leader for the textile's technical operations team that work from different countries around the world.
Travel will be required by the business and is estimated to 20 percent of the worktime.

You have higher education (university or equivalent) with a technical orientation, and you are experienced in flow and process-oriented operations, FMCG or industrial manufacturing.
You have a deep understanding and knowledge of the textile and antimicrobials industry both strategic and operational such as textile, production, dyeing and finishing. You are passionate about process thinking and improving flows, always connected to the business and you have a deep commercial understanding of the industry value chains at a global scale.
You are an experienced, passionate, and inspiring leader with good communication skills. We assume that you speak and write English fluently and it is highly meritorious if you speak Spanish fluently.
