About the role
Are you ready to work with new technology in an ever-changing environment? Do you want to leverage your skills in electronics design and help develop Electrical HW with the customer in focus? Then this role might be just what you're looking for! As Global System Responsible, your primary responsibility will be requirements, product documentation, and verifications. Focusing on the components' functions, attributes, design, and integration, you will be involved in internal and external technical decisions and recommendations to secure the delivery and quality of our projects. In this role, you will work closely with GCR, CAD engineers, Function owners, System engineers and Test engineers. But also integrate with other Volvo Technology areas and several suppliers.
We are looking for a
• pragmatic team player with an inspiring and coaching leadership style. You have a passion for technology and are always updated with the current news and future insights about the topic. You have knowledge of developing control systems HW and power electronics and are used to express yourself within required specifications. With your previous experience, you are confident in your role and comfortable taking responsibility for your components. Last but not least, you are a strategic thinker who likes working result-driven and is highly effective at planning and prioritizing tasks.
Requirements:
Master of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical engineering or similar
Good understanding of delivery towards timeline while the product quality secured
Ability to handle customer quality issues and maintenance aspects
Knowledge of agile working methods
Fluent in both written and verbal English
