As Global Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for supply chain planning for the product group Filters*. You will work closely with Plant Managers and Demand Managers in Gambros' three different geographical sales regions; EMEA (Europe and Middle East Africa), APAC (Asia Pacific) and Americas (North, Latin and South Americas). You will report to the Director Supply Chain Management and have one Supply Chain Planner from each plant report directly to you.
• Filters: A global product with high value and quality.
Main responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the Sales & Operations and Planning for product area filters
• Implement efficient inventory and production planning processes as defined by Gambros' Supply Chain Management Leadership Team
• Develop and maintain supply chain agreements with each plant
• Continuous improvement of the supply chain process to reduce tied-up capital in inventory and maintain a high product availability
• Manage direct reports
• Participate in the budget and strategic plan process.
• Member of the Supply Chain Management Leadership Team.
Background and Personal Qualities
You have a University Degree in engineering and/or in business. You have at least five years experience in the area of Supply Chain Management preferably in an international company. You have knowledge in i2 or other APS systems.
You have the ability to work effectively across different cultures. You are action-oriented, decisive and able to drive changes long-term and motivate people to commit to changes. Furthermore you have experience working within in a service culture with high client focus, and thrive in a problem solving environment. You have strong interpersonal skills and are a person that functions as a social net-worker.
You are more or less fluent in oral and written English. You are open to both national and international travel, approximately 30 days per year.
