The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the execution and delivery of the required annual productivity from our world leading manufacturing operations for GE Healthcare's Cyclotron and TRACERCenter business. You will be responsible for the continuous improvements in manufacturing quality and efficiency as well the implementation of GE initiatives for our manufacturing operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Managing a wider team of approximately 50 employees and you will drive continuous improvement through development of people and ways of working. You will collaborate with the other departments in developing new and existing products and replacement parts as well as overseeing the design transfer into the supply chain operation. As an active member of the business leadership team you will report directly to the General Manager, Cyclotron and TRACERCenter and take responsibility for the follow:
• Lead, motivate and enable the Supply Chain team to effectively manufacture and deliver products to our customers for new business, existing installed base and service requirements
• Develop effective relationships and create a collaborative environment between the General Manager, peers and your direct reports to secure business success
• Develop and execute on strategic plans to meet operational targets in accordance to business priorities and within budget
• Maintaining and develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) excellence for the Supply Chain function
• Drive product quality and efficiency projects to meet internal business metrics
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science/Engineering or related discipline or equivalent years proven experience
• Success as a leader and manager within and established supply chain/operational role
• Proven ability in delivering results and accomplishing successful change in an operational environment on key supply chain metrics
• Strong modern leadership with respectful decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively coach employees and experience in managing people leaders
• Experienced responsibility within full P&L
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Swedish
Desired Characteristics:
• Master's Degree in Science / Engineering or related discipline
• Understanding / technical knowledge of cyclotron and related systems an advantage
• Experience working with manufacturing and operational processes and policies within GE
• Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
