We secure an optimised and fully integrated package solution for customers of Tetra Pak by offering our food-safe, cost-driven, environmentally sound, complete portfolio of Additional Material products. Additional Material complements the Packaging Material to shape a complete Tetra Pak package.
Within Additional Materials, the Tetra Pak Closures organisation is today supplying 35 bio plastic caps, produced by more than 200 production lines located in 5 Tetra Pak factories and another 14 external factories.
The successful candidate will join the Industrialization & Sourcing Team within the Tetra Pak Closures organization and manage the relationship with Key Strategic Suppliers as well as deploy the sourcing strategy.
The position is based in Lund and requires approx. 25% of travelling time.
Main responsibilities
• Source, select and contract suppliers, in the field of machinery and services for Plastic Injection Moulding. High technology value machinery;
• Scout new technologies and related suppliers;
• Negotiate conditions to ensure supplier's high performance;
• Develop long term relationship, identify and cultivate new business relations with global industry leaders;
• Drive supplier Common Agenda. Secure continuous supplier partnership and contribution to Innovation;
• Deploy cost savings programs over the suppliers' network, for long term competitiveness;
• Define innovative supply solutions to maximize purchasing efficiency
• Supplier risk management and Responsible Sourcing
Qualifications
We are looking for a results oriented candidate that pursue everything with energy and drive. Your strong communications and networking skills enables you to deal with global industry leaders in an international global context. You have an analytical approach and are able to anticipate and understand a complex situation. You are used to place priority and structure to work related matters and you are methodical, attentive to details and efficient.
We believe you have a Degree in Engineering or Economy, technical education or have at least 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Suppliers Management. Project Management experience will be considered as a plus.
A very good command of English both written and verbal is a must.
