Overview
The Global Hygiene Supply (GHS) organization contributes to making SCA a highly successful global hygiene company by having the safest, most efficient and lowest total cost product supply base.
For our Paper- & Polymerbased Material team we are currently looking for a
Global Sourcing Manager (f/m)
preferably based at one of our European Personal Care factories e.g. Falkenberg (Sweden), Hoogezand (Netherlands), Olawa (Poland) or our offices in Mannheim (Germany) or Gothenburg (Sweden) to support all SCA Hygiene Business Units worldwide.
The Global Sourcing Manager secures global supply of nonwoven and delivers cost efficiency and additional value in all sourcing activities, by developing and implementing supply stream strategies, and by having an expert view on business demands and supplier market. This role will mainly focus on the global Personal Care business covering baby diapers, feminine hygiene and incontinence care products produced in approx. 20 factories in all geographical regions of the globe.
Main Tasks
Develop, anchor and execute supply stream strategies for relevant supply streams to deliver long term sustainable growth by setting the right priorities to secure supply and achieve cost saving targets as well as continuously developing the supplier base portfolio according to market and business needs
Assure access to new innovative materials from suppliers to support value creation
Perform risk management analysis, including financial risk analysis of suppliers
Expertise knowledge and key contact for suppliers in relevant supply stream e.g. negotiation of agreements like supply agreements, joint development agreements, confidentiality agreements
Benchmark prices and ensures cost transparency as well as monitor and report cost driver development for optimal total cost approach
Lead a cross functional team with R&D, Product Development, Product Supply and Operational Sourcing
Key Competencies
Min 5 years' experience in Sourcing at global or European level with demonstrated sourcing competence and/or transferable knowledge, preferably for materials in an FMCG environment
University degree or equivalent in Sourcing desirable
International work orientation and experience with demonstrated leadership skills / networking and influencing ability
Capability to turn strategy into action to deliver results
Strong analytical skills and drive for continuous improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Solid SAP knowledge and advanced Microsoft Office skills
