Camfil Farr Power System (CFPS) is part of the Camfil Farr group focusing on inlet-, acoustic-, exhaust- and damper systems for gas turbines and turbo compressors. To support in developing CFPS's
worldwide subcontractor network the company is currently recruiting an experienced Sourcing Engineer.

Job description/responsibility:
• You will identify, search and evaluate new subcontractors worldwide with key aspects in East Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Americas according to our products
• You will carry out supplier assessment and pre-inspect new workshops based on existing procedures.
• You will work out basic price overviews of each subcontractor.
• You will support Sourcing in negotiations and finalisation of Frame Agreements with selected suppliers.
• You will frequently contact and visit existing subcontractors for our supplier development process, providing the General Manager with necessary information.
Organisation:
• You will report to the General Manager Sourcing and Supply Chain.
Qualifications/experiences:
• You have the appropriate training as a mechanical technician/engineer.
• You have experience in manufacturing industry (preferably in companies with international projects), e.g. good experience as a production manager or equivalent being able to assess workshops for
products of the power plant industry and/or according to our requirements.
• You have good knowledge of ISO-9000.
• You are familiar with environmental mgmt systems like ISO-14001 and international HSE requirements.
• You are well familiar with welding requirements such as DIN, AWS, ASME
• You know the various cleaning and coating systems for carbon and stainless steels.
• Your portfolio of skills includes fluent written and spoken English. Knowledge of German, Swedish or other languages would be an additional merit.
• You are willing to travel.
