The role
Axis is now hiring two new Global Solution Marketing Managers for our Retail and Transportation business areas.
As Global Solution Marketing Manager, you will play an important role in the ongoing transformation of Axis from a product-centric company to a solution-centric company.
Your job is to build a deep understanding of your market and our value proposition to it, and then to develop the right marketing strategy, messaging and channels to build awareness and demand for Axis and our offering in the market. By driving new global marketing initiatives you will ensure we evolve and optimize our marketing in the business area.
As Axis is a global company, you will need to work closely with our nine business regions, coordinating and supporting them in executing regional marketing programs and acting as an expert on our target customers and how to most effectively market to them.
You will be part of a small, tight-knit team of like-minded Global Marketing Managers each looking after a specific business area. We will inspire you and challenge you - or just be there for a chat over morning coffee. Of course, you will also be able to draw on Axis commercial, marketing and technical experts in other departments. You will take a leading role in the transformation of Axis from a product-centric company to a solution-centric company.
The job involves traveling, approximately 15-25 days a year.
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you need to be structured and analytical and be able to simplify a complex situation into a clear action plan. It is desirable that you have copy-writing skills, as well as knowledge of digital marketing tools, e.g. for marketing automation, digital advertising, social media management.
In addition, you need to have:
Extensive experience (>10 years) from developing marketing strategies, segmentation and target group analyses
Experience from marketing with complex offerings - high-tech products, solutions or services in international markets
A strong ability to focus and structure your work
Leadership skills and an enthusiastic, sociable personality
A passion for marketing
Fluency in English, particularly in writing
Higher-level education in marketing
Prior experience from marketing to retail or transportation customers is very valuable, but not a requirement as long as the other requirements are fulfilled.
