To establish a brand as a leading lifestyle brand social media plays an important role, to drive both sales and the brand. Thule is giving a lot of focus to building a strong global brand communications team, with social media being an important part of this team. One of the challenges is to secure the brand consistency in all local social media feeds around the world.
We are looking for a talented Global Social Media Officer who will be responsible for all social media coordination in the English speaking markets (initially UK, US, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa). Additionally, this position will be charged with posting and coordinating content for the global Facebook (default) page and Instagram feed. The Global Social Media Officer will set up and make sure social media ad-spend is optimized in each market. Through working closely with the in-house Global Social Media team this person will create, manage and monitor engaging content for the localized Thule English language feeds and global feeds. With the purpose of building Thule awareness and supporting local sales initiatives, the Global Social Media Officer will ensure consistency of the company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media developments and innovative ways of connecting with audiences.
Based in the Thule Groups headquarter in Malmö, Sweden, the role requires a confident well-structured self-starter who believes in the benefit of team work. A passion for social media is a given. We would like you to have 1-2 years of experience from working within social media. Ad-spent coordination on Facebook and Instagram (set up and analysis of how to optimize) as well as knowledge and previous experience of Facebook Business Manager.
We trust that you have a structured approach, excellent trained communicational skills, impeccable writing skills and fluent with proficiency in English or have English as a mother tongue. You have an academic degree, preferably with a BA in digital marketing, strategic PR/Communication or Copy writing.
