The Sandvik Group Communications team is responsible for supporting business objectives by developing communication projects that ensure operational excellence, employee engagement, an attractive brand and consistency across all our channels. We're now looking for a Global Social Media Manager to join us in a temporary position during a parental leave. We want someone who's curious and brave - ready to jump directly into an exciting opportunity and enforce our spot on the digital arena together with us.
The job
In this position, you're key in managing Social Media for Sandvik globally. You use your genuine interest in the evolving digital landscape to plan and prepare content and communication campaigns for distribution. By supporting our local markets and business areas with your insights and best practices, and by promoting internal cooperation, you contribute in creating engaging stories and campaigns on a global scale.
This job also gives you the opportunity to be part of a truly international company and to drive engagement across varied channels and audiences - from impressing the world of engineering to improving our brand as an employer both amongst students and working professionals. To succeed in this mission, you collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to plan, prepare and promote content which resonates with both influencers and our audiences. You play a key role in planning and producing digital marketing campaigns from start to finish, and you execute the work across all social media channels which includes managing digital influencers. As you gather, analyze and interpret information, you ensure that we always make the most of our content and investments.
You're located at Sandvik HQ in Stockholm and some planned travel is part of the role.
Who you are
We're looking for an inspiring digital communications pro - someone who is skilled in the digital landscape and especially in social media. Your knowledge is gained from working with PR, Communications or Digital Marketing, either in an industrial company, the consumer industry or at an agency. On the other hand, you might recently have earned a relevant degree and are eager to dig deep into the exciting world of Sandvik. You know how to enhance a brand by building integrated launch plans and PR/digital marketing campaigns in a global context, and you have elevated skills in using data and insights to plan and create both visual and written content. You also love to explore new opportunities and trends within digital media. Your communication skills in English are excellent, while skills in other languages used within the group are beneficial.
