What you'll do
As a result of our growing customer needs to ensure maximum lifecycle utilization of their equipment, we are looking for a Global Services Custom Products Operations Leader. In this position you will manage and organize staff and functions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, collaboration, and meet quality/cost/timeline outcomes.
Lead custom parts and custom upgrades/modifications teams within the Service Operations function
Drive strong collaboration efforts and partnerships across Global Service organization (e.g. Regions, Product Management, Technology Ops) and various cross-functional teams (e.g. Customized Bioprocess Solutions(CBS), Automation & Digital, R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sourcing)
Drive and improve team development via continuous upskilling through structured training plans across technical framework; conduct regular coaching/mentoring sessions
Ensure adequate staffing, resources and succession planning to deliver on customer order demands
Respond to and resolve internal & external issues requiring management intervention
Participate in analytics and planning for operational, budgetary and mid/long term strategies and goals
Drive overall project reconciliations for cross-charge hours logging (EZ Labor / LTR) and collaborate/review/budget with finance as appropriate; drive BI improvements to automate dashboards/data sets
Maintain appropriate relationships with expertise suppliers/vendors
Communicate projects current state and changes/updates to management at global and regional levels as appropriate
Enhance and align service custom product offerings portfolio to grow footprint and capture more business
Ensure quality-controlled processes/SOPs
Support customer meetings as needed
Who you are
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or relevant work experience.
Experience planning resource and staffing needs via balancing high priority customer demands and longer trem strategic needs
Strong focus on customer, quality and meeting customer needs
Ability to lead and empower others, both within direct supervisory and matrix environments, where the experience to have managed a team to achieve short-term and long-term goals is a plus.
Experience of working in a global environment.
Demonstration of innovation and resourcefulness to further advance business operations and customer experience
Communicates and listens optimally to build and maintain key business relationships att all levels of the organization. Expresses ideas clearly and simply both verbally and in writing. Promotes timely, ongoing flow of information to others.
Builds a motivating environment. Empowers others. Encourages, motivates and assists in building cohesive teams, bringing out the best from peers.
Understanding issues at a region level but also able to see the bigger picture relevant to organization on a global scale.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills in English language both written and spoken.
The ability to travel 15-20%.
Desirable: previous product management experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of DBS tools and understanding of Cytiva products.
Your team consists of 10 people based in Uppsala and Umeå and frequent visits to the sites will be needed.
