Do you want to lead a global team and set the strategy for our supplier base?
Central Supply Management (CSM) within Tetra Pak Processing Systems is responsible for the supplier base for Processing Solutions globally. We are now recruiting a Global Segment Manager with senior supplier management experience to lead and develop one of our two purchasing segments. The position includes Supply Chain Management for our SCG segment (sub-contracted goods, i.e. own designed parts). You will lead a global team of 25 people, having site managers and supply managers reporting to you. The aim is to secure and maintain a well performing and competitive supplier base, meeting high demands on quality, delivery performance and compliance to policies, rules and regulations.
You will in this position be part of the CSM Management team, setting the strategies and driving improvements on a global level, as well as setting and driving the strategies for your segment.
The position will be based in Lund with about 50-80 days/year of travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Create, drive and implement segment and purchasing category strategies.
• Coordinate global segment activities and enhance collaboration between the different sites.
• Secure training for, and coach your team.
• Take an active part in the management team for Central Supply Management.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated leader with strong communication skills - you have the ability to paint a vision and create commitment and alignment. You find motivation in your strategic task as well as in coaching your team in its daily work and progress. You possess strong stakeholder management abilities and understand how to work cross-functional. A strong personal drive and result orientation is also required.
You have several years of experience within Supply management on management level, giving you a strong business understanding and a strategic view. We value your good technical skills and you have a university degree within Engineering, preferably in combination with Finance. Skills within quality and the manufacturing industry, as well as international experience are appreciated. A very good command of English, both written and spoken is required.
