There is now an exciting opportunity at Delphi, who is looking for a Global Sales Manager with responsibility for new business growth as well as account growth and value creation for the global portfolio, within Electronic and Safety. The division has a revenue of 3 billion dollar in 2016. Electronic and Safety provides critical components, systems and advanced software for passenger safety, autonomous driving, passenger comfort and infotainment. www.delphi.com As the Global Sales Manager, you will have an extremely significant role to business develop Electronic & Safety successfully to a new level.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Delphi 's sales point of contact to customer 's senior leadership. For assigned customers- lead the global development of business and product strategy and roadmap across the PBU
• For new business- lead the comprehensive due diligence and strategy for potential customers; lead the business case and customer relations for new pursuits
• Coach division global sales team with understanding/defining what drives economic value for new and existing customers. In collaboration with global sales teams, define/ re-fine and execute each customer 's strategy and help achieve global account business plan
• Lead global customer review meetings and, in collaboration with global sales managers, establish tools to have oversight and take action on customer account growth, customer product roadmap and customer satisfaction & feedback
• Accountable for achieving annual PBU 's global account strategic business plan
To succeed in this role, you have extensive experience in leading a global sales team in the manufacturing or technology industry. You have excellent skills in business development and strong communication skills (English and Swedish). You most likely have a degree in Engineering and preferably additional business administration background.
Of course, you have a successful track record in managing complex commercial discussions, establishing global customer strategies and increasing revenue/growth. You have proven experience in building sales capabilities and it 's a plus with product and specific customer experience or/and operations and supply chain background. With your entrepreneurial mind-set, you like to think outside the box and you are curious about emerging and untapped markets and industries.
As a person, you recognize yourself as being able to set strategic directions and you are balanced in strategic thinking and implementation. You have strong managerial skills, drive, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You have strong motivation, sense of urgency, high- level of energy and problem solving skills. As a leader, you have the ability to earn trust from subordinates, peers and superiors but also strong ability to build a high performing team accountable for results.
