About the job
In this position you will work in close cooperation with central Business units' teams, sales companies, customers, connectivity, and service value streams project managers. Business Unit Energy Separation service has a strong ambition to deliver superior customer experience and achieve Radical Service Growth being customers' first choice for our service solutions. The Global Service Sales team in Business Unit Energy Separation is responsible for all kind of Service offerings, Service development, Channel development, Service sales, pricing, and service sales support for mechanical and thermal separation products in the Energy Division.
Key tasks:
* Responsible to develop & lead Performance/Service agreement offerings, connectivity, upgrades, and service solutions.
* Work proactively with BU ENS sales and service teams, sales companies and across BUs to develop, launch and offer value-based start-up and service agreements.
* Drive Performance/Service agreements and connected services value proposals through close coordination with sales and service teams reflecting the customer needs, stressing the unique selling points and follow up
* Build Performance/service agreements development plan based on the Global service sales and sales company strategy and targets.
* Create new ideas and concept for future offering to expand our business and ensure Performance agreements growth plan and promote the whole service portfolio.
* Support service sales and sales company colleagues in complex upgrade, repair service cases, technical complex customer projects clarification & discussions.
* Act as trainer for, sales companies and customers in specific products and applications.
* Interact frequently with sales companies and customers, online and in real life, to promote the real-life benefits of Alfa Laval's Performance agreements and fully supported through the implementation process.
The preferred location for the position is Tumba, Sweden or Søborg, Denmark. The position involves travel activity of approximately 120 days per year.
Who are you?
As a person, you are customer focused, self-driven with a service mindset. You have a strong business acumen with a proactive data driven intent. You feel comfortable in interacting with customers at all levels, identify business opportunities and make strategies to capture them.
What you know?
To succeed in this position, you:
* Have an engineering degree, preferably Electrical/Mechanical, in combination with some years of service sales/product & applications experience within process industries
* Process industry application knowledge and have experience of High-Speed Separator and Decanters is a plus
* Have strong service mindset and make things done effectively and professionally
* Build and maintain relationships through customer presence as well as finding new customers
* Are comfortable in expressing yourself both verbally and in writing in English.
