In this role the subject matter expert will help and support the business to design and create reports in order to drive critical business decisions that will contribute to statistics and data analytics. In addition the role is the bridge between the HR business and IT in case of need of technical changes.

Responsibilities

Design and create reports for global and regional needs and for use throughout the organization

• Create and maintain reports within the global HR system
• Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
• Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
• Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
• Have the ability to communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers if needed
• Support various departments in reaching their goals through reports and analysis
• Monitor data to identify changes in the business

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
• Experience in SAP, object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
• Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel (and SQL) to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
• Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
• General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
• General knowledge of data models from previous experiences

As a reporting analyst/SME, you must have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems or a related field. You should also have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, among other software programs and preferably SAP Success Factors. However, no formal certification is required for these. In addition to technical skills, reporting analysts must have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time well. The ability to effectively communicate with the local business areas is critical. English language is required for this role.
